A new National Interest Action value ‘Hurricane Earl 2010’ has been added to track the relief contracts.

For Web Portal users the value ‘Hurricane Earl 2010’ is available for selection in the National Interest Action field dropdown. The Contract Writing systems using V1.3 shall use the code ‘H10E’ when creating/updating documents through Business Services.

National Interest Action value ‘Hurricane Earl 2010’ is valid from 09/03/2010 to 10/03/2010.

 NOTE: The definition of a National Interest Action (NIA) in FPDS and what determines that an NIA will be added to FPDS was changed by the Office of Federal Procurement Policy (OFPP). A new definition is being developed by OFPP to be added to the data dictionary, user’s manual, and other appropriate instructions.
